Job Summary

Full‑time Food Service Worker at Arlington Catholic High School (Arlington, MA). Responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food within the campus cafeteria, following food safety and service standards.

Location and Schedule

Arlington Catholic High School – 16 Medford Street, Arlington, MA 02474. Monday‑through‑Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pay: $17.50–$18.00 per hour. Position is open immediately. Applications accepted online only.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure ingredients as directed.
• Carry pans, kettles, trays, and utensils between stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Store food according to wrapping, dating, rotation, and food‑safety procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperature and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner following the outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with service standards and inventory, cash‑control procedures.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Prior cashier and food‑service experience preferred. Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast‑paced environment. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
