Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records. Assist manager in completing daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare daily transaction reports.
• Understand meal inclusions.
• Store food accurately and sanitize properly.
• Serve food per schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of various food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments for customer satisfaction and presentation.
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Follow food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
• Adhere to uniform policy.
• Coordinate with the manager to understand daily menu.
• Supervise food temperature requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of work and storage areas.
• Sanitize counters, steam tables, and equipment.
• Follow procedures for cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
• Manage garbage and kitchen floor cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
• This role may involve physical activities like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
