The Food Service Worker Lead at DeBerry Special Needs Facility supervises inmates to ensure that meals and food items are prepared according to production plans. This role involves training workers, assigning and coordinating work, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met. Starting Pay

$18-$22/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Lead food preparation and assist in setting up stations.
• Cook and prepare foods following recipes and directions.
• Ensure proper portioning and maintain temperature logs.
• Sample and monitor food quality, alert management of issues.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Greet customers, handle feedback, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and utensils.
• Manage waste disposal and transfer supplies as needed.
• Report safety hazards and assist in safety observations.
• Cross-train in various areas and assist with special events.
• Perform tasks as directed by management to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications
