Montage Health is seeking a Food Service Worker I to assist in various food service duties on a per diem basis. This role includes tasks such as dishwashing, delivery of meals, and stocking supplies. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, basic food production skills, and the ability to work quickly and accurately. Experience in food service is preferred.
Under the leadership of the department director and their assigned supervisor, the Food Service Worker I has a variety of duties. These may include, but are not limited to:
Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is required. Passing a basic reading and math test is required. The ability to work quickly and accurately is essential. Basic food and beverage production skills are required. Food service experience is preferred.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or experience in a related field is required.
California Food Handler’s Card at the time of hire or within three months of employment.
