Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (18+).
• Prefer prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.
• Ability to work onsite inside a jail/correctional facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in the preparation of quality foods according to menus and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe workstation and perform cleaning duties.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules according to procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook according to recipes.
• Follow all food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks and stay organized and clean.
• Stand and perform tasks for extended periods; lifting and moving as needed.
• Other duties as determined by our needs.
