Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: Canteen Cafe @ Lynchburg - 3315 Old Forrest Road, Lynchburg, VA 24506. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full and part-time schedules, Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirements: Cashier, grill cook, and catering experience required.
• Perks: Quarterly incentive potential!
• Pay Range: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
