Morrison Healthcare - Food Service Worker

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker positions at Danbury Hospital, located at 24 Hospital Avenue, Danbury, CT 06810. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time hours from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or 7:30 am to 4:00 pm; Part-time hours from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Monday through Friday, including rotating weekends. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Prior food service experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure ingredients.
• Transport food and supplies safely.
• Store food properly following safety protocols.
• Clean work areas and utensils.
• Distribute supplies and equipment.
• Follow recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
• Address customer concerns and communicate with supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and inventory procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
