Morrison Living is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker positions.

• Location: Masonic Pathways - 1200 Wright Avenue, Alma, MI 48801.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; days may vary. Shifts include 11:30 am to 7:30 pm, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and 6:00 am to 10:30 am. More details will be provided during the interview.
• Requirement: Prior food handling experience is preferred.
• Perks: Uniform shirt provided. Willing to train!
• Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients as specified.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores food properly, following wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisors.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
