We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital - 1000 South Limestone Room A.OB.614, Lexington, KY 40536. Note: online applications accepted only.

Requirement: Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: $16.20 per hour

Job Summary

Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
2. Weigh and measure ingredients.
3. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, adhering to safety standards.
4. Store food properly following safety procedures.
5. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
6. Distribute supplies and utensils.
7. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
8. Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
9. Address customer concerns and inform supervisors.
10. Follow sanitation and safety regulations.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
