Fresh & Ready Foods in Lenexa, KS is hiring for full-time Food Service Worker positions. Walk-in interviews are held every Wednesday and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at 9759 Commerce Parkway. No appointment is required; just come in to interview and learn more about the role.

Fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour with benefits, paid time off, and a referral bonus. Previous 1 year of food prep experience is required, and the environment is temperature-controlled.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of food prep experience in a food production environment.
• Must work in a temperature-controlled, cold environment.
• Walk-in interviews are welcome; no appointment needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform prep work: washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator safely.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portions.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following standard service steps.
• Relaying customer concerns to supervisor and assisting with resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and inventory procedures.

• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
