Job Title: FOOD SERVICE WORKER

• We are hiring immediately for a FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.
• Location: Monument Health - 949 Harmon St. Sturgis, SD 57785. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full or part time; Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm OR Saturday - Sunday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm OR Monday - Friday 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm OR Saturday - Sunday 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm
• Requirement: Food service experience is required.
• Pay Range: $15.50 to $18.00

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
2. Weigh and measure ingredients.
3. Transport food to and from work stations following safety standards.
4. Store food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
5. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
6. Distribute supplies and utensils.
7. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper serving temperatures.
8. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
9. Address customer concerns and report to supervisors.
10. Maintain compliance with service standards, inventory, and safety regulations.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
