Location: Colgate University

• We are hiring immediately for a full and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.
• Address: Colgate University - 13 Oak Drive, Hamilton, NY 13346. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: AM and PM shifts available, days may vary. More details are available upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior food service experience is a plus! Willing to train!
• Perks: $1.00 shift differential after 6:00 pm
• Sign-On Bonus: FT Sign-On Bonus - $500, paid out as $100 at 30 days, $150 at 60 days, and $250 at 90 days.
• Sign-On Bonus: PT Sign-On bonus - $300, paid out as $50 at 30 days, $100 at 60 days, and $150 at 90 days.
• Pay Range: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Measures ingredients accurately.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays following safety standards.
• Stores food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and utensils.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper portioning.
• Serves customers efficiently and courteously.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
