Trinity Services Group is hiring a Food Service Worker/Delivery Driver for the Currituck County Jail. You will drive a company vehicle along an established route, assist in food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, and help with loading and delivering orders to customer locations.

Ideal candidates are passionate about food and service, have knowledge of food handling regulations, and can work both in a team and independently with flexibility to multi-task.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and must be at least 21.
• Valid driver's license required for assigned vehicles.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn the delivery area and routes.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures and drive company vehicle.
• Assist with food preparation, serving, and kitchen tasks.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking.
• Load, unload, and deliver products in a timely manner.
• Report maintenance needs for the vehicle to the manager.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operate safely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About This Position

This position is working at the Currituck County Jail. Meal preparation for the jail and the community meals on wheel program. This position will also also assist with meal delivery.

The Food Service Worker/Delivery Driver will be responsible for driving a company vehicle for an established route/territory. They will assist in the loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations.

Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities

• Learning the delivery area.
• Checking orders for quality and accuracy.
• Following proper delivery procedures.
• Assist with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing as needed.
• Assist with receiving food and supply deliveries from vendors and restocking.
• Transfer supplies and equipment by hand or with cart as identified by supervisor to the proper location.
• Gather supplies required for each site as detailed on production sheets and order guides.
• Load, Unload, and deliver products and orders in a timely manner.
• Report any necessary maintenance or repairs needed on the company vehicle to the manager.
• Responsible for maintaining and keeping the vehicle clean
• This role includes physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 21 years of age.
• One (1) years' experience in delivering products/inventory preferred.
• A valid state driver's license for assigned vehicles is required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to transport and set up food and food service items.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
• Strong team orientation.
