Job summary

Trinity Services Group seeks a Delivery Driver to operate a company vehicle on an established route inside a jail/correctional facility in Orlando, FL. You will assist with loading, unloading, and delivering items to customer locations and report to the Food Service Director.

This role is onsite and requires adherence to safety and procedural standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, one year of delivery experience, and a valid driver’s

• One year of experience delivering products/inventory.
• Valid state driver’s license for assigned vehicles.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.

Responsibilities

• Learn the delivery area.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures.
• Help with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Load, unload, and deliver products and orders promptly.
• Report any necessary vehicle maintenance or repairs to the manager.
• Maintain and keep the vehicle clean.
• Stand, walk, lift, bend, push, and kneel for extended periods as required.

About This Position

The Delivery Driver will drive a company vehicle for an established route/territory. You will help with the loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Learn the delivery area.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures.
• Help with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Load, Unload, and deliver products and orders promptly.
• Report any necessary maintenance or repairs needed on our vehicle to the manager.
• Maintain and keep the vehicle clean.
• You will have physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• One (1) years' experience delivering products/inventory.
• We require a valid state driver's license for assigned vehicles.
• Transport and set up food and food service items.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
