Bake'n Bacon is a mobile food and catering service offering specialty cuisines. We are a growing Food Truck business serving the Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey regions. Bake'n Bacon is a unique food truck serving gourmet sandwiches with bacon as the spotlight. We aim to provide an exclusive experience with an unexpected twist on our offerings. We participate in food truck festivals, serve at breweries, schools, farmers markets, and campgrounds from Cape May, NJ, to suburbs of Philadelphia and surrounding Pennsylvania counties.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. The role involves serving customers on our fast-paced food truck. The successful candidate will create a positive customer experience, provide excellent food service, and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food to customers.
• Know the location of food items in the kitchen.
• Understand the menu thoroughly to ensure excellent service.
• Take guest orders, including special instructions.
• Apply basic mathematical operations.
• Provide good customer service skills.
• Stand and walk continuously during shifts.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
• Possess prior kitchen/catering experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach while on the truck.
• Work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment and Conditions:

• Variable work schedule, including weekends.
• Fast-paced with high turnaround times.
• Prepare items to order.
• Work in a small kitchen space.
• Support team during peak and off-peak hours.

Present oneself professionally, maintaining honesty and ethics. Maintain a positive attitude, communicate respectfully with colleagues and customers, listen carefully to orders, and respond appropriately.

Additional Requirements:

• Reliable transportation.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Box truck/delivery truck driving experience is a plus.

Compensation: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
