Job description

We are hiring immediately for part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier positions.

Location: City of St. Charles School District - 400 North 6th Street, Saint Charles, MO 63301. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time. Days may vary, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, 7:00 am to 1:30 pm; more details upon interview.

Requirement: No experience necessary. Willing to train!

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties and general food service tasks. Maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares fruits and vegetables, weighs and measures ingredients.
• Transports food, supplies, and equipment safely.
• Stores foods properly, adhering to safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
• Uses approved recipes and standards for quality and portions.
• Serves customers courteously and efficiently.
• Handles customer interactions and resolves complaints.
• Relays information to supervisors.
• Processes sales transactions accurately and issues receipts.
• Handles cash, change, and acceptable payment methods.
• Manages cash drawer in accordance with standards.
• Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
