Job Opportunity: Food Service Worker/Cashier

Chartwells K12 is hiring immediately for part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier positions located at Levittown Schools, 3359 Old Jerusalem Avenue, Levittown, NY 11756. Online applications are accepted only.

Requirements: Food service experience is a plus but willing to train candidates. Pay rate is $16.50 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
2. Transport food and supplies safely between stations.
3. Store foods properly following safety procedures.
4. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
5. Follow recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
6. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
7. Handle customer interactions and resolve complaints.
8. Process sales transactions accurately.
9. Manage cash drawer and receipts responsibly.
10. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
