+ We are hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER position.

+ Location: Electric Boat - 50 Pequot Avenue, New London, CT 06320. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Requirement: Prior cashier and barista experience is preferred.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work: washing, peeling, cutting, seeding fruits and vegetables; measure ingredients.
2. Transport food, supplies, and equipment safely.
3. Store foods properly, following safety and rotation protocols.
4. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
6. Use recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
7. Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
8. Handle customer interactions and resolve complaints professionally.
9. Relay information to supervisors.
10. Perform sales transactions accurately.
11. Manage cash register operations, make change, process cards, and issue receipts.
12. Handle cash refunds per procedures.
13. Manage change funds and cash receipts responsibly.
14. Replenish condiments and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned.
