+ Location: CAT Mapleton Foundry - 8826 West Route 24, Mapleton, IL 61547. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weighs and measures ingredients.
2. Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator, following safety standards. Distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment.
3. Stores foods properly, adhering to wrapping, dating, and safety procedures.
4. Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
6. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, temperature, and portion control.
7. Serves customers courteously, following service steps.
8. Interacts with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
9. Relays relevant information to supervisors.
10. Performs sales transactions accurately, enters sales into register, makes change, and accepts various payment methods.
11. Issues receipts and handles refunds following procedures.
12. Manages cash drawer, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards.
13. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
14. Performs additional duties as assigned.
