Nutrition Management Services Company is hiring a dependable Food Service Worker / Cashier for our high school cafeteria team. The role involves serving nutritious meals, maintaining a clean kitchen, and providing friendly service at the register.

You will assist with basic food prep, operate the cash register, and help set up and break down serving lines. This position welcomes students over 16 for part-time work and offers on-the-job training, with no nights or major holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; student workers over 16 welcome.
• On-the-job training provided for cash handling and food service.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs for the duration of the shift.
• Strong math for cash handling and accurate transactions.
• Excellent communication and a friendly, student-focused demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Service: assist with basic food prep and serve meals quickly and accurately.
• Cash Register Operation: ring up meals, process payments, and scan student meal cards.
• Setup & Breakdown: prepare serving lines before meals and break them down afterward.
• Cleanliness & Sanitation: clean and sanitize equipment, serving areas, counters, and dishes.
• Team Collaboration: maintain a positive, helpful attitude with students, staff, and teammates.
