Position Information
Minimum Qualifications
Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications and Position Summary
This role involves manual and semi-skilled routine work in food service duties. Employees apply skills and knowledge acquired through experience, including food preparation, service, cleaning, and sanitation of equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include cooking, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, ensuring food quality and presentation, and serving patrons courteously. Work is directed through specific oral and written instructions, with results reviewed by inspection. The position reports to the 4-H Dining Commons Manager.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies
Physical Demands
Ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, work in hot kitchen environments, and in cold storage areas.
