Job Opportunity: Food Service Worker

The Big Walnut Local Schools are currently seeking qualified candidates for a 2.5-hour Food Service Worker position at Big Walnut Intermediate School, beginning the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

1. Must meet the qualifications and performance responsibilities outlined in the Board-approved Job Description for Food Service Worker.
2. Must be willing and able to fill in for a head cook position due to illness or planned absence.
3. Must have clear BCI/FBI background checks dated within one year of employment.
4. Demonstrated positive rapport with students and staff.
5. Enthusiasm for food service work and ability to assume responsibility with minimal supervision.
6. Proven knowledge of meal operation and point-of-sale systems.
