The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is seeking an enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join their Dietary Team at Clarks Summit State Hospital. You will play a key role in enhancing the dining experience through effective meal preparation, service, and a clean atmosphere for guests.

The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is actively seeking a Food Service Worker to be a part of our Dietary Team at Clarks Summit State Hospital. In this position, you will be instrumental in meal preparation and service, contributing to a safe, clean, and inviting atmosphere for our guests. You will engage in various tasks related to food service, preparation, and sanitation within the dietary operation on a rotating schedule. This includes assisting with minor food preparation and service for special dietary events as directed by the Food Service Supervisor. Additionally, you will be responsible for assembling items in the supplemental nourishment and snack area, utilizing the current patient census for distribution across all patient units. Your duties will also involve preparing simple menu items, such as broth and sandwiches, as well as managing the preparation of bagged meals when necessary.
