Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Dietary Aide in the Food & Nutrition-Patient Svcs department to assemble patient meals, prepare cold foods, and uphold sanitation standards. The role supports daily kitchen tasks and ensures quality and service guidelines are met.

Weekend/holiday shifts are required. Prior hospitality experience and the ability to read instructions, recipes, and labels are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
• Prefer one (1) year experience in a hospitality service environment.
• Prefer ability to read and understand written instructions, recipes, and labels.

Responsibilities

• Assemble patient meals and prepare cold food items.
• Complete sanitation duties and ware-washing tasks.
• Adhere to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines.
• Develop positive relations with team members and function competently in a team environment.
