Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Florida is seeking a Food & Nutrition – Patient Services team member to assemble patient meals, prepare cold items, and complete sanitation duties in line with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. The role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays and may involve various shifts.

You will be part of a cohesive kitchen team, ensuring high-quality meal service to patients and adherence to safety standards, recipes, and labeling requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
• Prefer one (1) year experience in a hospitality service environment.
• Prefer verbal ability to read and understand written instructions, recipes, and labels.

Responsibilities

• Assembles patient meals and prepares cold food items.
• Completes sanitation duties and follows HACCP guidelines.
• Performs warewashing tasks as directed.
• Develops positive relations with other team members and functions in a team environment.
• Ensures completion of daily tasks according to established quality and service guidelines.
