Rescue Mission of Trenton is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to support our shelter and recovery programs by preparing and serving meals with care.

You will help with setup, cooking, food safety, labeling, stocking, and cleaning, while supporting volunteers during busy meal periods. A reliable, team-oriented approach is essential.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Positive, respectful, and team oriented.
• Organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable following recipes, instructions, and food-safety procedures.
• Experienced in food service, kitchen, cafeteria, or hospitality work preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler certified or willing to obtain certification.
• In possession of a valid driver’s license preferred, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $18.04/hour, including quarterly bonus

• 401(k): 2% company contribution plus company match up to 4%.
• Sick Time: Accrual with eligibility to use after 90 days, beginning in the first month of eligibility.
