Position Details

This position pays $13.00/hour plus a $400 new hire bonus and is located inside a correctional facility. The Food Service Supervisor supervises inmate labor and team members, prepares and serves food according to menus and work instructions, and ensures sanitation and safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and service
• Prepare and assist in food preparation following recipes and instructions
• Ensure proper food storage and sanitation
• Serve food on schedule and according to policies
• Operate kitchen utensils and equipment safely
• Train other food service workers
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
• Follow uniform and safety policies
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
