Job summary

SSP America is hiring a Food Service Worker at San Jose International Airport. You will greet guests, take orders, and serve drinks and food while following recipes and health standards.

If you have worked in fast food, quick service, or coffee shops, you’ll fit in on our team. The role offers full-time hours, meal plan, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast food, quick service, or coffee shop preferred.
• Strong friendly customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment and provide correct change.
• Serve drinks and foods to guests, following recipes and portion controls.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists and maintain cleanliness.
• Perform general cleaning tasks in accordance with health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required.
• Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
