Trinity Services Group Inc. at the South Wilmington St. Center in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our on-site team.

You will prepare and serve a variety of food items in a correctional setting, following menus and work instructions. This position offers a starting wage of $18.00 per hour, with hours 4:30 am to 10:30 am, Sunday through Friday (off Saturday). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing training.

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience; must be at least 21 years old.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions.
• Clean as you go and maintain a neat, food-safe workstation; pull trash, sweep, and mop.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations regarding sanitation, storage, and handling.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks and maintain organization; stand for extended periods.
• Other duties as needed by the department.

About This Position

This position is working at the South Wilmington St. Center in Raleigh, NC, paying $18.00/hour.

Hours: 4:30 am -10:30am(Sunday-Friday, Off on Saturday)

The Food Service Worker prepares and serves a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus within a correctional setting.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite at the South Wilmington St. Center in Raleigh, NC.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• The duties of the Food Service Worker include, but are not limited to, cleaning as you go and maintaining a neat and food safe workstation, which you will clean and maintain. These responsibilities also include pulling trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Abide by all food safety regulations about sanitation, food handling and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks, while being organized and clean.
• You will have physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need
