Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma or its equivalent.

Salary: $18.00 per hour.

Overview:
Position Summary:

• Assists cooks and other staff in meal preparation and obtains food supplies.
• Serves meals following portion control procedures and checks diet trays.
• Cleans equipment, walls, floors, and utensils according to policies.
• Delivers food carts and trays to designated areas; serves food and prepares snacks.
• Removes garbage and waste, ensuring proper storage.
• Restocks pantries and work stations.
• Records temperatures and times per HACCP standards.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Knowledge of: Food service operations, food preparation, cleaning, and sanitizing practices.

Skills in: Reading and understanding instructions, lifting heavy items.

Residency: Within Allegheny County within 1 year.

Veterans' Preference: Will be awarded to eligible candidates.
