Job summary

Mount Pleasant Independent School District is seeking a Food Service Worker to support cafeteria operations. Duties include assisting the Cafeteria Manager with meal service and adhering to food safety standards.

Qualifications

Job Description

Duties assigned by Cafeteria Manager
Education Preferred: High School Diploma/GED
Certification Required: Able to obtain Food Handler's Certification from the City of Mt. Pleasant (MPISD will pay for this training and certificate)
Experience Preferred: 1 year restaurant or school food service
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and write; Able to perform basic math; Effective planning and organizational skills Knowledge of commercial food service equipment and proper food safety procedures preferred
