Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Food Service Worker – Dishwasher to support our Food & Nutrition team. The role focuses on sanitizing dishes and utensils while maintaining HACCP guidelines, assisting in kitchen, cafeteria, dining areas and patient spaces.

The schedule includes afternoons, Monday–Friday with every other weekend and rotating holidays. The position is part-time (0.53 FTE) with a 21.2-hour work week and a pay rate of $19.65 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service and food service experience preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

The Food Service Worker – Dishwasher position will use a Best Care Best Experience approach to perform routine food service tasks in the kitchen, cafeteria, catering, dining room, dish room and patient areas. This role will specialize in sanitizing dishes, utensils and their work area while promoting a safe environment and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines.

FTE: 0.53; 21.2 hours per week

Work Schedule: 230pm-930pm; Monday-Friday shifts will be scheduled based on business needs; Required to work every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education:High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience:Customer service and food service experience preferred

Salary Rate: $19.65/hour
