Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time food service worker to prepare and deliver patient trays, service the cafeteria, and maintain clean facilities.

The role includes tray line work, stocking, nourishment prep, dishwashing, floor care, and waste removal in a hospital environment. Starting July 1, 2017, a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred and a County specific Food Handler certification is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of patient and non patient food service duties such as preparing and delivering patient trays, servicing the cafeteria, working on tray line, stocking storage areas, preparing nourishments, dishwashing and pot washing, mopping and sweeping of floors and emptying of trash as well as other related tasks.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
