About This Position

Bonus: $1,000!

Operation hours: Starting at 2am and 7pm. The 2am shift is available.

Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Position Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and service shifts.
• Prepare, assist, or instruct in food preparation according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure proper and sanitary storage of all food.
• Serve food according to schedules and policies.
• Utilize kitchen utensils and equipment properly.
• Follow food safety regulations.
• Train other food service workers.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Follow uniform and safety policies.
• Manage waste and keep the kitchen environment clean and ready for service.
• Ensure proper portioning and utensil use.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• This role involves physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, at least 18 years old.
• Preferred: Experience in institutional food service or restaurants.
