Job description

Job Title: Food Service Worker

Hourly Rate: $17.33
Schedule: 12 pm - 8 pm

Primary Responsibilities:

The Food Service Worker is responsible for cooking and preparing food for 100+ residents, as well as assisting the Lead Food Service Workers in various food service operations.

Essential Duties:

1. Cook meals in large quantities.
2. Assist staff in supervising residents during dining.
3. Help supervise food prep workers and stay current on food service and health/sanitation licensing requirements.
4. Participate in the daily cleaning schedule of kitchen, storage, and dining areas, including sweeping and mopping.
5. Assist the Food Service Supervisor in maintaining compliance with licensing and fire safety inspections.
6. Collaborate with RVCP staff to plan special food service events such as staff parties, luncheons, meetings, dinners, and holiday events.
7. Direct work in the kitchen during your shift.
8. Assist with program foods on the units, ensuring cleanliness and compliance.

Training:

CBRF training required for this position is paid by RVCP, Inc.
