This role supports daily meal preparation, sanitation, and accurate record-keeping with a Monday–Friday shift from 5:30am to 1:30pm. Pay is $17.60 per hour, and on-site collaboration with the manager ensures smooth operations and timely reporting.

Ideal candidates will have a Food Service Certificate, ability to read and follow instructions, and a strong commitment to sanitation standards in a kitchen environment.

Our client, Education is seeking Food Service Workers to join their team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be part of the Food Service team supporting daily meal preparation and service operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to sanitation and safety, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and the drive to work quickly and accurately under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Service Worker

Location: Fayette, IA

Pay Range: $17.60

Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 1:30pm

What's the Job?

• Assist the manager with food and meal preparation to support daily service needs.
• Maintain cash receipts and meal records accurately and in accordance with daily procedures.
• Assist the manager in completing daily reports to keep operations organized and up to date.
• Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
• Work onsite and coordinate with the onsite contact, Clay Carrier, to ensure smooth shift execution.

What's Needed?

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure while maintaining quality and safety.
• Comfort working in a kitchen environment and following sanitation and safety expectations.
• Reliability in handling records and receipts with attention to detail.
