Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Prepare and cook food, dishwashing, cleaning, and a variety of tasks in the kitchen.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School education preferred.
2. 2 years Food Service experience.
3. CDM qualified or willing to obtain certification.
4. Training in institutional food preparation or knowledge and skills in the kitchen.
5. Demonstrable skills in food preparation, ability to follow oral and written instructions, recipes, and established procedures.
6. Familiar with kitchen equipment.
7. Must be congenial with co-workers.
8. Exposed to various typical kitchen elements such as heat, fumes, odors, and subject to burns, cuts, etc.
9. Lifting light to medium weights.
10. Flexible to work different hours or shifts.
11. Able to perform adequately under stress.
