Hemlock Public Schools in Hemlock, MI is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our district's food service team. The role involves supporting meal preparation, maintaining sanitation standards, and assisting with production records to ensure smooth operation in school cafeterias.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents, work collaboratively with colleagues to promote student success, and travel within the district as needed.

Qualifications

• Background check and fingerprinting required.

• Maintains sanitation standards.

Job Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Maintains sanitation standards.
• Possesses the necessary skills to keep accurate production records.
• Ability to be patient and enjoy working with students of all ages.
• Must have a positive attitude about school food service and willing to expand knowledge of food service.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional approach to workplace relationships, avoiding unnecessary conflict and contributing to a respectful, solution-focused team environment.
• Willing to travel within the district.
• Experience in food service, preferred.

Salary:

As per negotiated district contract.
