Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Food Service Worker for the 2nd shift on a part-time basis in Greensburg, IN. You will assist in preparing hot and cold foods and properly store them according to safety standards.

Set up stations, interact with guests, and follow service procedures with a friendly approach. Maintain clean work areas and support a fast-paced, collaborative team environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with team members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and cold foods and store food properly.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments and utensils.
• Interact with guests in serving, retail and dining areas.
• Follow guest service procedures: smile, eye contact and greet guests.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment per rules and procedures.
• Maintain a fast pace and multitask during duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas
• Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact and greeting guests
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures
• Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties

Requirements:

• Previous food service experience preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate with other team members and other departments with professionalism and respect
