Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Food Service Worker to join the Kenyon College dining team in Gambier, OH. You will assist with food preparation, station setup, guest interactions, and maintain clean and organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

• Maintain professional relationships with all staff, vendors, supervisors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils.
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas.
• Follow proper guest service procedures by greeting guests with a smile and eye contact.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures.
• Maintain a fast pace and multitask while performing duties.
