Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a Food Service Associate to perform duties related to patient meals, tray assembly and delivery, ware washing, and general cleaning in a hospital food service setting. Responsibilities include late tray preparation, inventory, and assisting with bakery items for patients or cafeteria, with potential cash register duties.

Requires English proficiency; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak and comprehend English to follow instructions and safety precautions.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handlers card from City-County Health Department must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Required Experience

• A. Work Experience: Previous experience in Food Services work preferred.

• C. Education and Training: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
