Position Details

Schedule: Rotating days/weekends, 4am-11:30am, 8am-4:30pm, 11am-7:30pm.

The Food Service Supervisor oversees inmate labor and team members in food service operations within a correctional facility. Responsibilities include preparing and serving food according to menus and work instructions, and utilizing food preparation utensils and machines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and service
• Prepare and assist in food preparation following recipes and instructions
• Ensure proper food storage and sanitation
• Serve food according to schedules and policies
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
• Train other food service workers
• Follow safety and food handling regulations
• Promote a safe work environment
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
