Job summary

Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Bowling Green Veterans Center is seeking Food Service Workers to serve Kentucky’s Veterans with compassionate care. Join a mission-driven team and help maintain clean, sanitary kitchen areas and assist in meal preparation for residents.

• Serves nutritious meals to our residents

• Learns to prepare items for residents and ensures proper stocks levels are maintained for kitchen areas assigned.

This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section9(2), which are applied to the base salary:

• Second and Third shift: 15%
• Weekend and Holidays: 25%
