Job Description

Positions in this class work under the supervision of a Food Service Supervisor or higher. Responsibilities include food preparation, serving, and maintaining kitchen sanitation. Employees follow established procedures and policies, and may train and monitor lower-level staff in food handling, serving, and cleaning tasks.

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of kitchen safety practices, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, train staff, and prepare complex recipes.
• Capability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow security and emergency procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
