Job description

Join to apply for the Food Service Worker role at Northside Hospital.

Perform a variety of duties in support of the department's mission, including:

1. Operating automatic pot and dishwashing machines, and performing routine cleaning in the kitchen area.
2. Monitoring dishwashing operations to ensure proper chemical levels and water temperature, and maintaining records.
3. Sorting soiled dishes, utensils, and trays, delivering them to the dishroom, and returning clean items to storage.
4. Performing routine cleaning tasks such as mopping floors, wiping surfaces, cleaning equipment, and emptying trash.
5. Delivering food and supplies to Patient Care and Child Care areas, and restocking cafeteria supplies and condiments.
6. Assisting with unloading, storing food and supplies, and supporting other kitchen staff with routine tasks.
7. Practicing safety techniques per hospital policies and reporting any equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or injuries immediately.

Requirements: Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
