We are hiring a Food Service Worker to assemble ingredients, prepare, and serve food according to recipes, and handle sanitation duties in a healthcare setting.

Position Details

• Part-time, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• Onsite at Akron Children's

Responsibilities

• Assemble patient meal trays and serve food in retail settings based on recipes.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, trays, and utensils; maintain a neat work area.
• Manage inventory, stock floors, and request supplies based on par levels and census.
• Keep logs and records for HACCP compliance.
• Prepare food items including meat, seafood, produce, and sandwiches.
• Handle customer requests and concerns.
• Notify supervisors of equipment repairs or issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in food service, hazard analysis, and short-order cooking.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
