Job summary

Aramark is seeking a General Utility Worker I to support back-of-house and front-of-house Food & Beverage operations. The role emphasizes maintaining a safe, sanitary kitchen and assisting in daily prep and service tasks at our locations in Tempe, AZ.

You will learn proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment and participate in in-house trainings. Key responsibilities include temperature checks, cleaning duties, food storage, and assisting chefs with deliveries and service setup.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record food and equipment temperature.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment including pot/dish wash and deep clean duties.
• Attend in-house training sessions.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations.
• Comply with health and safety policy and company policies and procedures.
• Assist in checking in food deliveries to ensure high standards of produce.
• Ensure proper food storage and stock rotation in line with food hygiene regulations.
• Perform cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment or furniture.
• Prepare service area and/or service points.
• Accurate storage of food items and equipment after service.
