• We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY positions.
• Location: Miller School Of Albemarle - 1000 Samuel Miller Loop, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time schedule. Saturday - Thursday shift (1); Tuesday - Saturday shift (2). More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior commercial kitchen cleaning experience, attention to detail, and the ability to stand long hours.

Job Summary

Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash, steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Loads or unloads and delivers supplies and products.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Follows sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
