Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring a Food Service Utility – Full Time at Univ. of Maryland - Baltimore County. The shift runs Tue–Sat or Sun–Thu mornings and evenings; pay ranges from $16.23 to $16.75 per hour.

The role emphasizes maintaining clean kitchen areas and equipment. Responsibilities include sanitation, waste disposal, surface cleaning, and assisting with setup and deliveries. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, with benefits and opportunities for development

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes into designated containers; steam cleans or hoses garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front‑of‑house set‑up.
• Assists with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
