Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Food Service Worker I to perform non-cooking tasks such as dishwashing, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashier duties, and tray passing within a hospital setting. You will assist with loading carts, general cleaning, and receiving supplies, contributing to a clean and efficient food service operation.

Preferred candidates have at least a high school diploma and 1 year of service-related experience, with strong English communication, teamwork, and attendance.

Position Details

Preferred Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Preferred Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a service-related environment/industry.

• Is courteous, considerate and cooperative when communicating with all patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel.
• Ability to work in direct contact with a variety of foods.
